DECEMBER 2023 – The ongoing conflict has produced deep division in our land, but FCSI has always been and always will be a ministry that believes and strives to see Messianic Jews, Arab Christians, and International Christians form One Body.
Recognizing our need to be together, especially in this difficult time that threatens to pull us apart, FCSI hosted a Joint Worship Night for students from around the country in central Israel. The night included worship songs in Hebrew, Arabic, and English, times for students to pray together, and testimonies from two student leaders.
E*, a Messianic student leader, shared from his heart about Psalm 133 “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” E* reminded us that unity is not something that just happens and that especially in a situation like the current war, unity is something that must be fought for. Another leader, Y*, an Arab student from the North, shared from Ephesians 4 about our call to love one another, even when it is difficult and when we have strong differences. It was so powerful to hear these brothers in Christ share their hearts with fellow students and to have representatives of the Messianic and Arab Christian communities issuing a call to unity.
Some students also participated in an art project to help them reflect on the themes of the evening.
