In mid-July, students from the Beersheva and Sde Boker campuses arranged a worship night together on the Sde Boker campus. The students led songs in both English and Hebrew, with around 30 people in attendance.
Everyone worked together as a team to bring the vision to life! One FCSI graduate brought stringed lights to decorate the room. Others brought and set up instruments. A nearby family volunteered to bring snacks for everyone (the fresh watermelon was quickly devoured!) as well as lend and set up the sound system.
During the worship, several students were asked to exhort the others in certain categories, such as praising God, bringing our petitions to him, and being witnesses on the campus. They spoke powerfully, encouraging their fellow classmates from the Scriptures and even singing spontaneously.
It was a powerful and rich time to be in the presence of God and with each other.
We are praying for more events like these all across Israel!
