MAY 2024 – Our annual Joint Conference is a highlight for our ministry. This year, there were 194 Messianic Jewish, Arab Christian, and International Christian students from all over the country.  They came together as ONE BODY to focus on the hope we have in Jesus. Especially in these challenging times it is important to not look at what divides us, but instead in what unites us in Christ! HE is our hope, our anchor in this storm. It was so encouraging to worship together, pray, learn and have fun from morning to evening (and for some – until late at night!).

The theme of our conference was “Anchor – Our Living Hope”. Our speakers reminded students that our hope is not in an idea, nor in our circumstances (both which can fail or disappoint), but our hope is in Jesus, who is living and the same yesterday, today and forever. Students were challenged to hold on to their hope in Jesus even in difficult and uncertain times – very much like the times we are going through right now. But this isn’t just hope for the Middle East or a particular people group; this is OUR hope. So as our students were gathering as one body in Jesus, they were reminded that they share that hope.  In addition to this, we also had seminars covering topics such as: forgiveness, living with purpose and having hope when we are wounded.

“As a recent graduate, I’m so thankful for FCSI [and] for your generousity that made it [the conference] happen. Thank you so much!”
